Daddy's own Sam Woods (Tiger's Daughter)

Yesterday Connor had her first trip to Golfsmith... Daddy's favorite store! Daddy picked out her clubs months ago so today was her turn to take the first swing. No, we didn't buy them yet, we at least have to wait till they make the matching pink golf shirt and shoes in her size.
And yes, she was trying to milk the club... that's all she knows how to do!
But sorry Heidi, I think our golf club beats Hannah's 3 week old chicken strips... then again, Hannah really ate her questionable meal.

Connor's 4 Week Birthday!

Today Connor turned 4 weeks old! Boy how times fly:) We spent the day with Granny, Great Aunt Marti and Grandma Hootie at the Cheesecake Factory. Now, while Connor won't enjoy the food till later, mommy loved her Luau Salad and Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake! Thanks again Grandma Hootie and thanks for coming out to visit us Granny and Great Aunt Marti.

Connor Casstro; Week 3

Our baby girl spent the evening with another Grandpa tonight. She slept peacefuly the whole time! She is growing so quickly and we are having to much fun watching her every move.

Yesterday we all helped our favorite neighbors, Jason and Kellen, move to Pasadena. They will be missed but we now have an excuse to visit old town more often!!

Connor's First Big Outting!

So Connor and Mommy finally got out of the house for more than a trip to Target last weekend. We attended the beautiful wedding of Brian and Stephanie Pope. Well, we didn't make it to the ceremony due to late feedings, a stopped freeway and a histerical baby with a very wet diaper. So we detoured to the reception and enjoyed a nice night with family and friends.

Welcome Home Connor Madison!

Miss Connor Madison Casstro

Weighing in at 7 lbs. 4 ozs. and 20" long, Connor joined the family on August 1st at 7:48 am. Labor was long and the epidural was worth it... I have all the respect in the world for those who go au'natural during child birth!

My husband was an amazing coach and I never once threatened to kill him. I did, however leave my mark on his hands and arms during each contraction.

My mom and sisters were also with us every step of the way, filling in for Andres when he had to step out to get me more drugs! However my mom spent most of the time reminding us how she read thru labor with me and not once took any pain killers for any of us... thanks Super Mom!

Now the labor is over and we have her home with us. Our new family is doing well and slowly adjusting to a random sleeping pattern. Daddy takes the early evening shift and Mommy takes the early morning shift. Of course, daddy wakes mommy for feeding time, but lets her sleep in between. We plan to constantly change our schedule and know every day is just as unpredictable as the last. We look forward to this new life and feel blessed to have such a beautiful and healthy addition to our family!
