Our Dear Becks

We have the cutest little doggie named Becks (after David Beckham, Andres' hero). He is a great dog who's only fault is peeing when he gets upset. Well, the other night we came home to find he had gotten into the hall closet. After cleaning up the Christmas ornament he ate, I went on with my evening to do's. It took about 10 minutes after we got home until I realized Becks was having issues with this coat hanger... apparently he climbed into the closet a bit too far and got stuck! He somehow managed to step into it with his back legs and got it caught around his butt.

Don't watch the first episode... that's how they get you!

I made the mistake of watching the first episode so I know names, faces and personalities. I don't watch the show because I love the it, I watch out of curisoty. Who will go home? Will this really last? Does he even like these girls? Do they really like him, or the fact they are on TV?

I still haven't forgiven Jenn Schefft for standing up Jerry on the 'After the Rose' episode. No notice, she just let him know she wasn't interested any longer and did it on LIVE TV! Poor guy!

For Andy, my match is Bevin (the blonde). My guesses have been correct so far...I'll let you know if I've still got it after tonight!

My First Mother's Day!

Mother's Day...or Father's Day? Hmm...I think Andres was a little confused!

This was my first Mommy-To-Be Day, and it was nice! The men got dinner ready and after, Andres and my dad washed all the dishes. Good Job Boys...hence the nap in the hammock after the dish duty was done.

Thanks to everyone who sent me sweet mother's day cards and wishes. It was fun to be celebrated as a mother, even Connor gave my ribs a rest for a while that day!

Today is the day....Andres' test for the Riverside Police Department. Boy are we nervous!!! He has been studying the practice test for a month and quizing himself on the information. His biggest fear, the Essay portion. I tried taking the practice test and failed...my mom, on the other hand, passed with flying colors...someone put a badge on that woman. It is just like an SAT and we know how much everyone loves a good SAT.

So here SHE is! Meet the newest member of our family, our baby girl! These pictures were taken on Monday and we are so excited. Andres swears she has his nose, exactly what he didn't want...but I'm sure it's still too early to tell!

Happy Birthday to my Baby's Daddy!

Today is my husband's (*the term is still new to us, so I like to throw it in whenever I get a chance!) 31st Birthday!

He is an amazing man who will make a great father, full of love, passion and dreams. I am so excited to share my life with him.

Saturday Night (6'ish) we will be having a BBQ at our house, everyone is welcome and we will watch the DeLaHoya /whoever fight. Let me know if you are able to join us!

So I did it, and I worry it was a bad idea...at least dad will think it is (sorry boss). I have started a blog to keep everyone up to date on the Casstro family activities and on goings. I figured since this year will be full of events and life changing steps I will keep people posted with pictures and our thoughts.
