A couple seconds of fun for Mommy!
So I deleted the last couple pictures when she started to really let me know what she felt about mommy's play time... but I was able to sneak a couple goods one first. Isn't she too cute?
Connor makes a big splash!
So the belly button has finally healed enough to move up in the baby world... She has been promoted from sponge bathes, to her own personal bathrub. Here is a visual run down of her opinion of this new experience.
Someone is NOT happy to be on this new adventure!
I really feel she was trying her best to flip me off!

Connor Madison is 6 Weeks old!
Our baby girl got her first 2 shots for her 6 week check up... and it hurt me pretty bad! The nurse attacked both thighs and she didn't like it. Good thing mommy was by her side with a bottle to ease the pain... she loves to eat! (Don't know who she gets that from:)! ) Maybe that's why she has put on 3 pounds since her last check up. She now weighs an impressive 11 pounds and 2 ounces and is 22 inches long. She is getting so big and becoming so much more interactive, it's awesome!
Also, Connor got a new playmate for Becks. His name is Buster and is a 5 month old Maltese. He has to learn some manners, but hopefully some of those will rub off from his big brother. Both the boys are getting along great and have lots of fun playing around the house. Becks has been awesome with Connor and comes to get me whenever she wakes up from a nap or cries. He is her little guard dog. Buster, on the other hand, is a toe nibbler and will learn to watch out for his sister soon enough! (He is less than half the size of Becks, the camera angle adds a few pounds!)

Our New Best Friend
Andres is known to be a friendly guy and I love that about him! He loves to meet new people and get to know them in record time. For example, when our friends Jason and Kellen moved into the building, he came into the house and asked me how much longer till dinner because he was helping our new neighbors move their stuff up to the 3rd floor and wanted me to come out to meet them too. (I hate moving myself let alone complete strangers up to the 3rd floor! My first reaction is to introduce yourself AFTER the big stuff is up:) just kidding... a little) Anyhow, we became great friends and he has since met just about everyone else in the building and is on a first name basis with all of them...last night one of the neighbors asked him if he ever considered going into politics:) Anyhow... our new Best Friend was given to us by our neighbors on the 2nd floor and we are now in love. Here is a picture of Connor and our new Best Friend:
Yup! It's the SWING! I read something in Connor's baby book today that commented on how some parents feel a pacifier is a baby plug... well, this seems to be the same thing in this house. She loves it! Our neighbors have a little girl as well and have given us an assortment of things for Connor including a huge box of very cute clothes! Thank you to our neighbors and thank you to my dear husband for being so damn outgoing and friendly!

Daddy's own Sam Woods (Tiger's Daughter)
Yesterday Connor had her first trip to Golfsmith... Daddy's favorite store! Daddy picked out her clubs months ago so today was her turn to take the first swing. No, we didn't buy them yet, we at least have to wait till they make the matching pink golf shirt and shoes in her size.
And yes, she was trying to milk the club... that's all she knows how to do!
But sorry Heidi, I think our golf club beats Hannah's 3 week old chicken strips... then again, Hannah really ate her questionable meal.

Connor's 4 Week Birthday!
Today Connor turned 4 weeks old! Boy how times fly:) We spent the day with Granny, Great Aunt Marti and Grandma Hootie at the Cheesecake Factory. Now, while Connor won't enjoy the food till later, mommy loved her Luau Salad and Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake! Thanks again Grandma Hootie and thanks for coming out to visit us Granny and Great Aunt Marti.

Connor's First Big Outting!
So Connor and Mommy finally got out of the house for more than a trip to Target last weekend. We attended the beautiful wedding of Brian and Stephanie Pope. Well, we didn't make it to the ceremony due to late feedings, a stopped freeway and a histerical baby with a very wet diaper. So we detoured to the reception and enjoyed a nice night with family and friends.

Welcome Home Connor Madison!
Miss Connor Madison Casstro
My husband was an amazing coach and I never once threatened to kill him. I did, however leave my mark on his hands and arms during each contraction.
My mom and sisters were also with us every step of the way, filling in for Andres when he had to step out to get me more drugs! However my mom spent most of the time reminding us how she read thru labor with me and not once took any pain killers for any of us... thanks Super Mom!
Now the labor is over and we have her home with us. Our new family is doing well and slowly adjusting to a random sleeping pattern. Daddy takes the early evening shift and Mommy takes the early morning shift. Of course, daddy wakes mommy for feeding time, but lets her sleep in between. We plan to constantly change our schedule and know every day is just as unpredictable as the last. We look forward to this new life and feel blessed to have such a beautiful and healthy addition to our family!

For the Love of the Game!
Watch out Tiger Woods, here come the new King and Queen of golf!
Andres has taken up this new sport and is loving it (thanks Jason, you created a monster!). He is learning patience, not only for his aim, but for those who can't Birdie each hole! He got his first set of irons last week and invited Mel for a one on one game on Saturday. This gave him a chance to break in his irons as well as his new shoes, towel, tees, balls, putter, driver and iron covers! (Yes, his collection of golf accessories is constantly growing and I am finding tall tees all over the house!)
Melissa, on the other hand, has just returned to the sport after a good length break since High School. Her skills impressed us and she took on the course like an old pro! Their one on one game ended with a close score, of course I did loose count on a few different holes and wasn't sure if the ball bouncing off the bird on the 11th hole counted for another point or not!
As for me, I think I need to wait till the size of my belly and boobs decrease so I can get my hands on the club and actually take a full swing at the ball! I am still supportive and spend my tee time sitting in the cart, chasing down the snack cart and hunting for other people's balls to make up for the ones we loose in BFE!
