A Good Night

So I have decided that no one is to bother me during the hours of 8-11 pm on the following days:

Sunday

Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Sorry peeps, but the TV is callin' my name. This 'stay at home' week on NBC is killer. I am so excited that all my shows are on again and now I can sit in front of the TV to craft! Sorry books, but your at the bottom of my list.

Here are a couple things I did tonight during Pushing Daiseys, Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money:

I finally made these 2 throw pillows for my couch. I bought the fabric YEARS ago for my mom to make them, but finally took it back when I realized the task was easier than bugging her. I l-o-v-e them and am super excited to watch Grey's Anatomy on them tomorrow night.

I also had a bit of a sweet tooth and made these:Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins...with Lemon Glaze. YUM!

Best of all, while I did these, Andres was working on this:

It's my RED desk. My parents gave it to us and I asked Andres to make it bold and different. I thought it would be a fun change!

*I also finished a skirt and started Connor's halloween costume...but I am about to turn into a pumpkin and I'm not talkin' the latte from Starbucks.

Couch Potato or Potatoe?

I went online tonight trying to remember what it was I meant to search for this afternoon (while on my lunch break of course) but I can't remember! figures. It may have been a search for my book title (see previous post) to make sure I am as creative and original as I believe myself to be, or maybe it was a search for cute thank you card ideas for Connor's birthday party (What? The one year wedding rule doesn't apply to first birthday parties also?).

Either way, I ended up on the ABC website to see what great shows are airing for my viewing enjoyment. This time last year I was a couch potato! I was way prego and every night, when I got home from work, I plopped down in the corner of the couch and let Andres wait on me hand and swollen foot. It was great! But the TV options were great too. I was hooked and had my viewing schedule down pat! I was into the usual:

Desperate Housewives, Brothers&Sisters (my personal fav), Nip Tuck (turn head during all surgical procedures of course), Big Shots (I give an __insert big TV award here___ to the director of casting for that show!), Cashmiere Mafia AND Dirty Sexy Money.

What a great selection, especially for a pregnant chick who only got off the couch with the assitance of a strong man to pee or grab another antacid (actually, just to pee cause Andres was always a bell's ring away for anthing else!) Anyhow, I just saw on their website that they are bringing back Dirty Sexy Money! Yeah to good tv! I really have no other purpose or insight to bring you this evening, other than I like to watch TV. What's your favorite show? And you can't choose Lost, cause I hear a lot of positive feedback so I consider it a given (but, for the record, I'm one of the few who can go without on that show...they lost me somewhere between the plane crash and the shire...I'm confused just thinking about it!)

What's up with the Lakers? Game 2, lost by 3! For anyone who watched, they had them at the end and then pulled a foul. Guess we'll have to wait till game 3 to see what they can do...

I just watched American Idol and my last post holds true to today. I cried with David (the little buddy) on his trip back home. I even teared up a little with the other 2, but David is so genuine. He is a good guy and I shed a little tear of appreciation for his fellow Utahians. (Yes, I made that word up).
